Alpaca Fibre Filled Duvet - Winter
Trouble sleeping? Drift off to dreamland under one of our luxurious and eco-friendly alpaca fibre-filled duvets. With its hypoallergenic and thermoregulatory properties, it’s a nighttime essential that’ll keep you sound asleep till morning.
The alpaca fibre is one of the most valuable and exclusive natural fibres available. It is called “ Gold of the Andes” or even “ Fleece of Gods”. In the empire of the Incas it was reserved for the royals and clerics. In Royal Alpaca quality, the fibre is finer than cashmere and much more valuable than sheep's wool.
For our duvets we use the wool from our own alpacas, which produce extraordinary fine fibre. That is why the number of duvets we can make each year is limited. We don’t use any cheap wool imported. From shearing to finish every step of the production happens locally in our own hands.
Sleep soundly with our sustainable alpaca-fibre filled duvets. Whether you suffer from night sweats, allergies or fluctuating body temperatures, our cozy alpaca duvets have your back. The luxurious and eco-friendly alpaca fibre in our sustainable duvets boasts many health benefits. Not only is alpaca fleece hypoallergenic and anti-microbial, it also absorbs moisture which helps regulate body temperature for a more comfortable sleep.
Each alpaca duvet is hand-made with care and filled with a breathable blend of 70% alpaca wool and 30% sheep wool, which adds more loft. We use 300 g of fill per square meter for our all season, 200 g for our lightweight, and 500 g for our winter duvet. The cover is 100% cotton, white, thread count 260.
We currently need 2-3 weeks to make the duvets.
